Gary Dawe graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a masters in clinical psychology specializing in the area of social anxiety. He began his career as a psychologist in the schools where he worked with a broad range of children affected by educational and behavioural challenges until 2004. He also worked with adults and children, first as a clinician in the Sussex Mental Health Centre, and then since 1997 in private practice. Mr. Dawe has specialized in the area of disruptive behaviour disorders, learning disorders, stress, anxiety and ADHD across the lifespan. He has lectured extensively on these topics and continues to make it a focal point of his clinical practice. Mr. Dawe is also an affiliate clinician to a number of major Employee Assistance Plan providers and has given numerous workshops in work stress management, and work-life balance.
